The Havering Concert Orchestra is a charity but it receives no grants or other external funding to help support its work. The orchestra does not have a formal subscription system but members of the orchestra are strongly encouraged to make donations, in place of a subscription, to help towards the running costs.
Recommended Annual Donation
Members are free to donate whatever they can afford, or feel is appropriate. The suggested annual donation is £150. If any member wanted to donate more such donations would be extremely welcome as this would help support the costs of running the orchestra.
There are several ways to make donations; by the term/concert at a broadly proportionate rate. Many members prefer to pay by monthly standing order. Please see the table below for full details.

If you are a higher rate taxpayer don’t forget to add you Donation to the Gift Aid Payments section, it raises your thresholed and the Government adds 25% too! You could even afford to donate more!
